Doro Pesch released her debut album, with Warlock (“Burning The Witches”) in 1984. In order to celebrate these 30 years of successful studio releases, the German Metal Queen will do what she does best – touring worldwide. This tour, suitably called “30 Years Strong & Proud”, includes two very special shows in her hometown Düsseldorf: a “Classic Night”, with full orchestra, on May 2nd, and a “Rock Night” with guests the following night. Both shows will be held at the CCD Stadthalle. As for the UK, London will welcome Doro in the O2 Islington Academy on May 19th (tickets available here).

Despite being her anniversary, the gift is for the fans: her latest album “Raise Your Fist” (2012) will be re-released with a bonus CD entitled “Powerful Passionate Favorites”, where Doro covers some of her favorite artists (hence the title) and offers some other treats:

01. It Still Hurts
Doro and Lemmy‘s duet, with a new mix from Jacob Hansen (Volbeat)
02. Léve Ton Poing Vers Le Ciel
The French version of the single “Raise Your Fist In The Air’’
03. Babe I´m Gonna Leave You
Led Zeppelin cover
04. Nutbush City Limits
Ike & Tina Turner cover
05. Only You
New version of the song, which was written by Gene Simmons (Kiss) in 1990 for Doro
06. Egypt (The Chains Are On)
Cover of her favorite Ronnie James Dio song
07. Nothing Else Matters
Metallica cover
08. Warfare
New song, which will be featured in the movie ‘Anuk 2′, where Doro acts as the warrior Meha
09. NYC Blues
