The Antiquity replace The Valiant at Valk-Fest 2013

Following a the recent announcement, The Valiant will not be playing this year’s Valkyrian Festival due to a mix-up with their schedule, leaving them unavailable for the event. However, Scarborough based metal quintet The Antiquity have stepped in to replace The Valiant. The Antiquity will be playing the final day of the event with bands such as Severed Heaven, Spekulus and local favourites Alice In Thunderland.

The full Valkyrian Festival line-up is as follows:

This year, Valkyrian Festival is in aid of RapeCrisis. Information on RapeCrisis can be found at this location. Valkyrian Festival 2013 is now officially sponsored by online gothic and custom-made jewellery store, The Crypt Of Curiosities.

In related Valkyrian Festival news, Aonia will be headlining a Valk-Fest fundraiser at Shades Nightclub, in Bridlington on 7th September with support from Powercake, Spekulus and Penance, the latter of which [performed at last year’s Valk-Fest. Southampton metalcore band The Valiant announced for last day of Valk-Fest 2013

Southampton’s top metalcore band The Valiant are the third and final band to be announced this month for this year’s Valkyrian Festival, which will take place 29th November – 1st December in Bridlington, later this year. Having only formed in 2009, The Valiant have already supported bands like Shadows Chasing Ghosts, Bury Tomorrow and Vanna. The Valiant are no doubt a great addition to an already diverse line-up that boasts the likes of melodic groove metallers Nya, industrial band Spekulus and Bridlington’s very own trad. metal band Alice In Thunderland.
