Soulfly to tour through the UK next month

Supporting their ninth studio album “Savages”, Soulfly are currently touring in Europe (click here to see the dates). The UK leg, which includes two festivals, will begin next month:

Soulfly posts two more trailers for “Savages”

Max Cavalera & Co. (including his son Zyon) have been releasing trailers for the upcoming Soulfly album “Savages“. This should hit the North American stores on September 30th and the European ones on October 4th, via Nuclear Blast, and It’s available for pre-order at this location.

In the two latest ones – already the 4th and 5th – Max speaks about the concept of the album and how it’s like to work with producer Terry Date:

Metal legends Soulfly, who are spearheaded by the iconic frontman Max Cavalera, have recently released the third studio trailer for their new album; Savages. You can watch the latest update down below. Savages is scheduled for release on 30th September through Nuclear Blast. You can also check out the band’s lyric video for Bloodshed at this location. The video was created by Tommy Antonini, guitarist for Italian hardcore band Tasters.

Soulfly unveil lyric video for Bloodshed, taken from upcoming album

Metal icons Soulfly, who were founded by the legendary frontman and guitarist Max Cavalera, have released the lyric video for Bloodshed, which is taken from their upcoming album Savages as the first single. The lyric video, which can be viewed below, was created by Tommy Antonini, who is the guitarist for Italian post-hardcore unit Tasters.

The song, Bloodshed, features Cavalera’s son Igor on guest vocals, who has already played with the band on their recent run of European dates. Commenting onBloodshed, Max said the following:

The song is about the absurdity of the human condition in territories plagued by bloodshed all over the world. Not just recent events like Iraq, but also historical conflicts such as the U.S. Civil War, World Wars I and II, etc.

Savages is due for release via Nuclear Blast on 30th September. The artwork was created by renowned artist Paul Stottler, who is best known for Sacred Reich’s legendary Surf Nicaragua cover. Produced, engineered and mixed by renowned sound guru Terry Date (Pantera, Deftones, White Zombie), Savages will be released as a limited edition digpack CD, 2LP vinyl and digital download. Guest vocal appearances on Savages include bass player Tony Campos, Max Cavalera‘s son Igor Cavalera (Lody Kong), Clutch‘s Neil Fallon, Napalm Death‘s Mitch Harris and Jamie Hanks of I Declare War fame.
