Napalm Death confirmed as UK support for Children of Bodom

Pioneers of the UK grindcore scene Napalm Death were recently announced as special guests on Children of Bodom’s upcoming Halo of Blood UK tour. Formed in 1981 in Birmingham, Napalm Death have consistently released groundbreaking albums since their now legendary 1987 debut release Scum and they show no signs of slowing down as they continue to tour in support of their current Utilitarian release which came out in 2012. Children of Bodom stated:

Touring the UK and Ireland with Napalm Death feels great! We are honoured to have these pioneers with us and looking forward to seeing them live every night!

Finnish rockers Reckless Love announce headline UK tour

The flamboyant rockers from Finland, Reckless Love have announced a headlining UK tour in October, later this year. The tour follows on from the Finnish quartet’s month long UK tour in autumn last year.

Tour dates are as follow:

Reckless Love’s single Night On Fire is out now via Spinefarm Records. The song is taken from the band’s upcoming album, which is currently untitled. The video for Night On Fire can be viewed below.

Local band announced for MFVF

Local act Hell City have been announced for this year’s Metal Female Voices Festival at Oktoberhallen in Wieze, Belgium. The five piece classic metal outfit, whom are influenced by the likes of Iron Maiden, Metallica and Led Zepplin, will join the likes of Tarja Turunen, Stream of Passion, Delain and more for the three day festival from 18th – 20th October, later this year.
