Niklas Kvarforth’s Shining to headline Razors Over Europe 2013 Tour

Sweden’s Shining; whom are fronted by the infamous Niklas Kvarforth, are set to headline the Razors Over Europe 2013 tour which will take place over 17 dates through mainland Europe, the UK and one date in Ireland. Norwegian black metallers Crest Of Darkness; who like their management mates Shining will be touring in support of a brand new album, and Swedish thrash band Sterbhaus are set to support on the tour which is presented by Capapult Promotion. Routing confirmed so far for the “Razors Over Europe 2013 Tour” as follows:

9th edition of Belgium’s Metal Mean confirmed for August 2013

Belgium’s extreme metal Metal Mean festival organisers have announced that the 9th edition of the festival will take place on 17th August 2013. So far, no bands have been announced.

Metal Mean crewmember Willem Van Maele commented: “we are working hard on next year’s edition. The concept stays the same and it won’t be easy to top last year’s edition, but we won’t settle for less!


Rival Sons UK Tour Starts This Sunday

Californian blues-rockers RIVAL SONS are preparing to kick off a UK tour with none other than Black Stone Cherry this Sunday, March 11th.

The band – who are releasing a special redux edition of their breakthrough album, Pressure & Time, on Monday – will be spending two-and-a-half weeks on the road for their sold out UK tour, before heading on to mainland Europe for a number of headlining shows.

Rival Sons drummer Michael Miley comments: I’m chilling in a cafe listening to some new mixes from our upcoming album, figuring out logistics for the Face of Light video, and looking at final artwork for the Pressure & Time redux out on the 12th.  But most importantly, I’m freaking out excited about the upcoming Black Stone Cherry tour and seeing all our friends in the UK; one of our favorite countries in the world!  See you all soon!
