Anaal Nathrakh reveal new album details

Posted in Grindcore, Metal, Misc., News with tags , , , , on 7th August 2018 by izaforestspirit

Good news for fans of Anaal Nathrakh. Two years after the well received ‘The Whole of The Law’, the British black metal/grind-core act return with ‘A New Kind Of Horror‘.

Here’s what their vocalist Dave Hunt (a.k.a V.I.T.R.I.O.L.) had to say about it:

This is not a happy album, it is bitter, vengeful, sarcastic, sardonic, violent, terrified and horrified, terrifying and horrifying in equal measure. Above all, it is human, and all that that entails. It’s as sincere as we could make it.

You can check out the art-work and track-listing below:

. The Road To…
2. Obscene as Cancer
3. The Reek of Fear
4. Forward!
5. New Bethlehem/Mass Death Futures
6. The Apocalypse Is About You!
7. Vi Coactus
8. Mother of Satan
9. The Horrid Strife
10. Are We Fit for Glory Yet? (The War to End Nothing)

Huddersfield Heavymetalfest 2013 cancelled due to cancelled Fleshgod Apocalypse UK tour

Posted in News with tags , , , , , , , , , on 27th August 2013 by Nico Solheim-Davidson

The first ever Huddersfield Heavymetalfest, which was to take place on 12th October at The Parish in Huddersfield has been cancelled. The reason given was that Fleshgod Apocalypse have pulled out of their upcoming UK tour with HateScordatura and Bound By Exile. The UK tour had already been under scrutiny following Anaal Nathrakh being announced as touring main support without confirming.

No statement regarding the cancellation has been made by Fleshgod Apocalypse yet however Hate, who were booked as co-headliners made the following statement via their official Facebook page:

UK TOUR CANCELLED !

We do regret to inform you that The Fleshgod Apocalypse/Hate tour in the UK has been cancelled. The reason for this is just bad organization of the shows and incompetence of the agency that was responsible for it in the first place.

Stephen Moss of Nuclear Blast Touring said “We tried to rescue the tour after the previous agent who was booking it made many errors, but in the past weeks we had more trouble as promoters were confirming shows with us that the promoter had not confirmed with the venues. So shows were being cancelled. (…) The only option is to cancel the tour and re-organize something for the future, which of course I am not happy about, with Nuclear Blast I have tried to rescue the tour, but we have failed.”

We are sure that many of you will find this disappointing. All we can do is to assure you that together with our agent we will be working on another tour in the near future. We totally appreciate your support to the band and we hope to find another opportunity to come on a UK tour fairly soon. Until then Rest in HATE!

The Nazgul Agency who were the agency that booked the tour are still yet to make a statement regarding the tour’s cancellation and the accusations of poor organisation.

The festival organiser, Luke Diesektor, is aiming to launch the Huddersfield Heavymetalfest in February of next year and already has a headliner confirmed.  The full statement regarding the festival can be found here.

Fleshgod Apocalypse will be returning to the UK in January next year, supporting Kataklysm. Dates can be found at this locationFleshgod Apocalypse‘s latest album Labyrinth  was released recently via Nuclear Blast.

Anaal Nathrakh release statement about apparent UK tour with Fleshgod Apocalypse

Posted in News with tags , , , , , , on 22nd June 2013 by Nico Solheim-Davidson

Following the recent announcement that Anaal Natkrakh are touring with Fleshgod Apocalypse later this year, the band have stated that they had not confirmed they could play the dates. The full statement was posted on their Facebook page and as is as follows:

For anyone hoping to see us in the UK in October: It appears we have been announced for a string of UK dates with Fleshgod Apocalypse in October. We did NOT agree to play these shows. Repeat: at no point have we ever said that we would play these dates, or that Mick would even be in Europe at the time. We are currently looking into whether we can do them for the sake of those who may have already bought tickets. But the dates have been announced without our participation or consent, and we cannot guarantee at this stage that we will be playing. We thought it best to let people know the situation as quickly as possible rather than waiting for a final confirmation. Further information will follow as soon as it is available.

Fans appear to be pointing the blame at The Nazgul Agency who are responsible for the booking of the tour while promoters are pointing the finger at Nuclear Blast for announcing the tour before everything was properly set in stone. Obviously there had been a mix up in communication down the line somewhere and both fans and promoters alike are advised to not jump to any conclusions until the situation has been solved.
