After releasing their second album “Til Alle Heimsens Endar” with Dark Essence Records, back in 2010, Norwegian black-folk Galar have renewed their deal with the label for two more albums. The duo is currently in Conclave & Earshot Studios, in their hometown Bergen, working with producer Bjørnar E. Nilsen on their third full-length, which should be titled “De Gjenlevende” (The Bereaved). Once again, it’s written entirely in Norwegian, but the fans should expect “longer and more epic songs”. “De Gjenlevende” is a concept album, drawing inspiration from Pan-European folklore, ontology, and elegies, and it should be released early next year.
