The Mission sign Euro deal with SPV

SPV have proudly announced that they’ve renewed their contract with UK legends The Mission. Keeping busy with a worldwide tour in 2013, The Mission have sold over 4 million albums worldwide and just celebrated their 25th anniversary as a band in 2011. Presently, the band is recording their 12th studio album in a secluded residential studio in the heart of the UK. David M Allen (Depeche Mode, The Cure, The Sisters Of Mercy) is producing the album and comments:

It is a privilege and an honour to be working with The Mission on their new album. I’ve had many dealings with the band over the last 30 years that I have known them, and this chance to record with the original members is very special.

But the most exciting part of these plans – the whole process will be filmed for The Mission’s new documentary, which will be released next year.

The new album by The Mission will be released in September 2013 via Oblivion/SPV in Europe and via The End Records in the US.

  1. I absolutely love your blog and find the majority of your post’s to be exactly what
I’m looking for. Do you offer guest writers to write content available for you?
I wouldn’t mind publishing a post or elaborating on a number of
the subjects you write about here. Again, awesome web site!
