Victory Records signs Parisian progcore band

Victory Records is proud to welcome French progressive metalcore outfit As They Burn to their roster.

Emerging from the streets of Paris, France, As They Burn was formed by bassist Ronald Pastor, guitarist Fabio Meschini and drummer Milton Bakech in 2007. Vocalist Kévin Traore, known for his chillingly aggressive vocals, was enlisted shortly thereafter along with guitarist Hoby Arinosy. As They Burn was complete and ready to bring their music to the masses.

Bakech comments “Being part of the Victory Records family is such a great pleasure and honor. We’ve been giving it our best for a long time trying to make our dreams come true. We want to thank everyone who has supported us over the years. This means the people behind, on and in front of the stage, you are a part of this and it is just the beginning! Love is the law.

Their first album Aeon’s War was digitally released on June 20, 2011 and was the start to a colourful beginning. The band recently added Bastien Jacquesson on keys and machines, finalising their line-up as they prepare for their Victory Records’ debut album, due out in early 2013.  They’ve honed in on their skills and sound to bring fans a powerful and intense album that demonstrates fierce vocals, insane rhythms and catchy melodies that will captivate the metal community worldwide.

As They Burn recently toured France, Belgium and Switzerland with their good friends Betraying The Martyrs, shared the stage with Emmure at Hellfest and successfully completed their first European headliner tour. They will head back out on The Age of Horus tour in October and November that will take them throughout Europe before making their way to the US in 2013. Check for updates here.
